TP Manufacturing, which trades as Pendock, has been acquired by Peterborough-based architectural and decorative casing solutions specialist Encasement, from Davidson Holdings.   Pendock is a leading manufacturer and supplier of plywood casings for heating and plumbing and sprinkler system pipework, as well as washroom cubicles, column casings and radiator guards, and has a 40,000sq.ft manufacturing site in Telford, Shropshire.   A key part of the deal to purchase Pendock was Encasement’s commitment to retain Pendock’s workforce and continue manufacturing at the company’s well-established operation.   This assurance has been further reinforced with the signing of a new five-year lease on the building and the recent investment of more than £150,000 in building upgrades and new machinery.   “Pendock is a well-known brand … Read More »

Middlesex Ltd. has specified six column casings from Pendock, the British casings and enclosures specialist, for a ward in the Newham University Hospital, on behalf of main contractor VINCI Construction. The sub-contractor was looking to create a calming and minimalist environment for Rainbow Ward, which specializes in paediatric and adolescent services including oncology, surgical and medical care. Originally opened in 1983 by Her Majesty the Queen, the hospital has been undergoing extensive refurbishment, with the three-storey children’s unit being redeveloped gradually over the past couple of years.
