170 PREFORMED PLYWOOD CASINGS:

TK systems are primarily designed for concealing supply service pipework up to 50 mm diameter or electrical wiring.

Two shapes are available:

TK range – an angle section with sloping top edge.

TKD range – a channel section with sloping top and bottom returns.

  • Material thickness: 5 mm.
  • Standard length: 2500 mm.
  • TK standard widths: 25, 45 and 75 mm.
  • TKD standard widths: 45 and 75 mm.
  • Finish/colour: Durable white melamine.
  • Colour: White

Accessories:

  • Internal and external corners. (TK only)
  • Butt joint covers. (TK only)
  • Stop ends.

Fixings:

  • Black screws. / Brass screws. / Polytop pins. / Zinc screws with decorative caps and collars.
  • Face fixed to softwood battens using manufacturer's fixings. Long runs of sections are joined together using butt joints (TK only) incorporating ‘push fit' joint covers. Fix stop ends using pins, adhesive or flexible sealant.
  • Position of fixings: 50 mm from each end and equally spaced along the profile at approx. 600 centres. Provide extra fixings where necessary to uneven walls.

Pendock can provide a cutting service to reduce the standard product size to an intermediate height. The profiles are fixed to softwood battens, available as part of the system. When determining the size of the profile it is important to take into account the size and positioning of the battens.
