170 PREFORMED PLYWOOD CASINGS:
CH enclosures are primarily designed for covering and protecting larger diameter pipework, including heating services, soil and vent pipework, rainwater pipes, heat recovery ducting, etc., which are located in mid wall applications, vertically or horizontally.
Enclosures are supplied either as pre-finished components fitted with assembly joints to facilitate site installation or, where appropriate, as a single unit.
The enclosures are available to individual size requirements, based on a pair of angle casings (MX range) with an additional flat front section and/or additional flat side sections. A range of factory assembled joints are available (J1, J2, J3, J4 and J5).
All profiles are 90° angles, with radiused corners. (Internal radius is 21.5mm)
Material thickness: 8mm
Length: 2500. / 3000 mm. Longer lengths can be achieved using an inner collar to link two sections.

Durable white melamine. – for Types B, C, D and E.
Real wood veneer - for Types B, C, D and E. Consult Pendock for availability of colours and samples. High pressure laminate. Ref: – for Types B, C, D and E. Consult Pendock for availability of colours and samples.
Accessories:
Factory fitted edge shadow gaps (black finish for use with black screws), to provide discreet fixing location and material for scribing.
Inner collar for head / skirting / jointing application. Can be supplied in complementary finishes to enhance the column design. Inner collars are produced to suit the internal dimensions of the main casing and have a standard height of 200mm, to show up to 150mm.

Face fixed to softwood battens using manufacturer's fixings.

Position of fixings: 50 mm from each end and equally spaced along the profile at approx. 600 mm centres. Provide extra fixings where necessary to uneven walls.

Position of fixings: In black recessed section, positioned 50 mm from each end and equally spaced along the profile at approx. 600 mm centres.
