Pendock launch new Boxing-Pak range for plumbers

A new range of compact, pre-packaged pipe boxing kits has been launched by Pendock to provide plumbing and heating engineers with everything needed to box in pipes in a single pack at less than £15.00.

Each kit in the Pendock Boxing-Pak range contains a single piece of Pendock pre-finished and preformed pipe boxing in either 825mm or 1250mm lengths, together with two pre-cut timber battens, fitting instructions and all the required fixings in a sealed high density plastic bag to give protection whilst in transit.

Two sizes of Boxing-Pak are available, each finished in durable white melamine for use in domestic bathrooms and kitchens as well as commercial applications. The MX 75mm x 150mm profile allows easy covering of heating, mains water and smaller drainage pipes while the MX 200mm x 300mm profile is designed for concealing WC waste pipe work and other large diameter pipes.

Paul Hetherington, Managing Director with Pendock, explained: “Boxing-Pak was developed in response to requests from plumbers and heating engineers who wanted shorter lengths of our standard boxing profiles to minimise wastage, reduce cost and make it easier to handle than our core 2.5 metre and 3.0 metre lengths.”

He added: “By including all the fixings and battens within each Boxing-Pak it makes things even easier for busy plumbers to achieve a great finish, whilst saving hours compared to traditional site boxed or tiled alternatives.”
