Preformed Plywood Casings

A range of column casings and enclosures.

Where flat surfaces occur within the casing these can be used as distribution points for electrical services including power, data and communication socket outlets.

Casings are designed to be installed with mechanical fixings allowing access for subsequent inspection and maintenance.

When tested in accordance with BS 476: Part 7, Pendock profiles achieve a Class 2 spread of flame. When applying fire retardant laminates and applying an appropriate glue bond, Pendock casings and enclosures achieve Class 1 spread of flame, with Class 1Y on radiused components. Many components can also be produced to Class ‘0' spread of flame/fire propagation as detailed in Part 6 of the BS standard. A proprietary intumescent system should be used in conjunction with all Pendock enclosure systems to achieve the necessary rating in respect of fire resistance.

All casings and enclosures are designed to be installed using countersunk screws available from Pendock in a Black, Zinc or Brass finish. Mechanical fixings may be obscured by the design of the installed systems or discretely positioned within shadow gaps and feature joints, concealing them.
