Timber Column Casing Range

Introduction

The Pendock classical timber range of architectural columns is designed for traditional and modern settings where the presence of columns gives a feeling of structure in the surroundings whilst maintaining an open and spacious aspect.

Columns are available in a wide range of diameters, finishes and embellishments allowing designers and specifiers to create individual styles to suit almost any building interior. The standard manufacturing material is MDF but other materials such as softwoods and a number of hardwoods are available.

Column casings and embellishments such as cornices, footbases and skirtings are supplied in modular form for each of the diameters in the range. This allows a wide variation of designs to be created.

All Pendock classical timber columns are of sturdy construction with minimum wall thickness of 20mm. They can be used in locations where they are self supporting only requiring fixings to prevent movement. The design and manufacture allows brackets and other items such as light fittings, handrails, circular tables to be conventionally attached to the body casings of any columns in the range.

The columns are available in three standard formats; plain, reed & bead or fluted.
